Breakfirst is a young studio of builders and breakers. We write the software, then set out to ruin it: load it, probe it, exploit it, test it again after the fix. What survives, ships. What does not, never meets a customer.
What we hold to
Everything breaks.
The only question is who finds out first: you, in a test window, or a customer, or an attacker. We make sure it is you.
Evidence, not opinion.
Every finding comes with the request, the response, the impact and the fix. If we cannot show it, we do not report it.
Small on purpose.
New, and small, on purpose. The people who build and test your software are the people you talk to. No account managers, no handoffs, no layers between you and the work.
Fix it, then prove it.
A report is not the end. We retest every fix and sign it off, so the status in the document is the status in production.
