What we collect
If you use the contact form we collect your name, your work email address, what you want tested and, if you give it, a URL or repository link. If you email us we keep the email. We do not collect anything else on this site. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no cookies set by us.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to scope the work you asked about and, if we go ahead, to run the engagement. That is the only purpose.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to our mailbox by our form processor and stored there. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else. If we use a third party to run a test, we will tell you first.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after twelve months. Engagement records are kept for as long as the contract and the law require.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it and ask us to erase it. Write to hello@breakfirst.dev. Our grievance officer is [name to confirm], reachable at the same address. If we do not resolve your complaint you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
